Little Monster shortfilm
Co-director and Art Director

"Little Monster" is a 2D animated student film I co-directed and art directed during my final years of college. It gave me the chance to dive into both the creative and production side of animation.
It tells the story of a young boy, Leo, who has to learn to face his fears—brought to life as a small monster that follows him everywhere. As the fear grows, so does the monster… until he finds the courage to confront it. The short explores how fear can take up more space when we let it, and how things only begin to change when we stop running from it.
It’s a colorful tale that aims to reflect a child’s point of view: vibrant, emotional... and a little bit magical.

I was in charge of designing the main characters and establishing the film’s overall visual direction. I created a style guide, model sheets, and color script to keep the film's look consistent across departments. As co-director, I also helped lead team reviews, managed feedback, and supported the group creatively and interpersonally through every stage of production.

Part of my job as an art director was to give feedback on character turnarounds (1), get animation poses into model (2) and adapt designs (3) into the style of the film.
